The Project:
The purpose of this project is to find out the Cost of Living in different countries. The questionnaire that needs to be completed consists of finding 2 prices for 128 items in several supermarkets, restaurants, a petrol station and several retails shops. Completing the questionnaire will take you about 2 days of work (12 hours).
Before you start collecting the data, we advise you to prepare yourself about the locations and the most efficient way of collecting the prices.
For every item we will give you a preferred shop and a preferred brand, these items should be available in your region. If these shops or brands are not available, you should find a shop or brand that meets the item description.
Time schedule
On 1st April I will be able to sent you the questionnaire and the deadline for this project will be 9th April 2008. After you have handed in the questionnaire you will need to be available for clarification (email or phone) in case one of our business managers has any questions regarding the collected data.
Payment
The total shop fee for completing this questionnaire is 100 USD.

Use The Phone Book
In almost every city, there are mystery shopping companies right down the street from you that are looking to hire new employees. The problem is in finding them. They don't openly advertise their services in order to keep some form privacy for their clients. The following ideas may help you find additional secret shopping opportunities in your city. Use these tips along with this free secret shoppers list in order to maximize your earning potential.
Depending on the size of the city or town that you live in, there may be mystery shopping companies in your local Yellow Pages. If you live in a large city, (New York) mystery shopping companies can be found in the phone book. They are not so concerned with privacy as there are tons of companies offering the same services. Search listings under Personal Shopper, Secret Shopping, Mystery Shopping, Market Research, Employee Evaluators, Business Analysts. Create your own shoppers list.
If you live in a small town, use the online Yellow Pages and look up the same headings in any larger city that is close by. Even small businesses need secret shoppers and your local businesses will more than likely use these companies.
When you find the companies, give them a call and ask them if they hire mystery shoppers. The worst they can say is no, right? That phone call will only have cost you two minutes of your time. If, however, they do hire mystery shoppers, then you just made yourself a new contact that may potentially provide you with a steady stream of employment opportunities.

- Some of the companies does not hire in American Samoa so that means you have to make a search on the companies that are conducting shop down in the island or anywhere you are at.

- Like I said earlier, this is not a Full Time job this is only a job that can help you earn some extra money. So be patience when you receive an email from the company that you applied for that they are currently not hiring at the moment but will give you feedback when they do get one.
